V-T offers one of the broadest product lines in the industry by producing engine fasteners, airframe bolts, and slotted entry bearings. We are known for 100% on-time delivery to commit dates. Our quality is of such a high standard that none of our major commercial or government customers require source inspection.

The company is also unusual in operating a highly vertically integrated, self-contained manufacturing facility wherein its products are brought in as bar, coil or casting stock that is forged, machined, heat treated, plated and tested in-house. Having this extra measure of control ensures quality, minimizes production lead times, and allows us to be exceptionally responsive to short cycle requirements.

Our History

Founded in 1954 as the Valley Bolt Company, V-T has been producing specialty aircraft fasteners since its inception. In 1971, a parent firm consolidated Valley Bolt with TODECO (Tool and Die Engineering Co.), a maker of slotted entry bearings. The combined company became a member of the McKechnie Group in 1995.

Today

V-T manufactures engine fasteners as small as 3/16 inch in diameter and airframe bolts to up to 1-1/2 inches in diameter, plus slotted entry spherical bearings and rod ends with diameters from 3/16 inch to 8 inches. Both the bearing and fastener operations directly supply product to all major airframe and engine companies (including Boeing, Northrup Grumman, GE and Pratt and Whitney), and serve the aftermarket (including Air France, KLM and Lufthansa, among others) through our sister company, Arger. V-T also directly supplies spares and replacement parts for military aircraft to the U.S. Government.

Our Future

V-T is in the process of expanding its OEM and aftermarket sales by focusing on unique customer requirements and through partnerships with other McKechnie Aerospace companies and their selling partners.
