DIRKSON CHARLES NAMED CFO OF MCKECHNIE AEROSPACE
NOV. 20, 2007— Placentia, California … Tariq Jesrai, Chief Executive Officer of McKechnie Aerospace, announced today that Dirkson R. Charles has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Charles reports directly to Mr. Jesrai and immediately assumes responsibility for all aspects of financial operations for the multinational organization. McKechnie Aerospace consists of eleven aerospace systems and component manufacturers serving leading aviation and aerospace OEMs and operators worldwide.
Prior to joining McKechnie Aerospace, Mr. Charles held a similar position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer with K&F, a leading manufacturer of aviation wheels, brakes, fuel tanks and brake control systems that was recently acquired by Meggitt-USA for $1.8 billion. In total, Mr. Charles had seventeen years with K&F Industries, playing an instrumental
role in that company’s operational development as well as the successful IPO and subsequent acquisition. In addition,
Mr. Charles was with Arthur Andersen and Company during the mid-eighties for 5 years where he supervised audit engagements and acquired expertise in the Securities and Exchange Commission rules and regulations. Mr. Charles holds an undergraduate degree and MBA in finance from Pace University.
