WARWICKSHIRE, ENGLAND (June 1, 2004) – Tariq Jesrai has been named to the newly created position of Group President of McKechnie Aerospace OEM businesses, according to an announcement made by Stuart Moberley, Group Chief Executiveof McKechnie.
Prior to his promotion, Mr. Jesrai was President of the McKechnie Aerospace Structures Group, which included the operation and integration of industry leading Hartwell Corporation, Tyee Aircraft, and Technical Airborne Components. Prior to joining McKechnie Aerospace in 1999, Mr. Jesrai was Vice President and General Manager for the Tedeco Division of Aeroquip-Vickers. Mr. Jesrai’s distinguished career also has included twelve years with Honeywell International (formerly Allied Signal).
In his new role, Mr. Jesrai reports directly to Mr. Moberley and assumes responsibility for the strategy and operation of each of the Groups as well as the close coordination of inter-group developmental and customer support efforts on current and future programs.
According to Mr. Moberley, naming Mr. Jesrai to the created position of OEM Group President is part of McKechnie Aerospace’s overall strategic direction of supporting its OEM and prime manufacturer customers with more comprehensive technical and business solutions across a wider spectrum of technologies. He noted, “Mr. Jesrai has proven himself an effective leader and I am exceptionally pleased to have him take the helm in this effort. By close collaboration with our customers and technology groups, we’ll be able to contribute even more significantly to our customers’ future success.”
McKechnie Aerospace OEM Groups work in close partnership with airframe and engine manufacturers and their subcontractors in the creation of new products.
