Placentia, CA (July 13, 2004) – Jeff McGowan has been named Vice President of HASCO®, the aftermarket distribution arm of Hartwell Corp., a member of the McKechnie Aerospace Structures Group and long-standing leader in the development and manufacture of latches and latching systems for aerospace applications.
Prior to his promotion, Mr. McGowan was Director of Marketing for the McKechnie Aerospace Structures Group. In total, Mr. McGowan has nearly 20 years experience in the aerospace and B2B high technology industries, serving in various management positions with such industry leading companies as Textron and Fairchild.
In his new role, Mr. McGowan assumes all operational and sales responsibility for HASCO® and reports directly to Mr. Tariq Jesrai, Group President of McKechnie Aerospace OEM Businesses. Mr. Jesrai noted that, “ We’re exceptionally pleased to promote Jeff to the head of HASCO® as his management and team building skills, in-depth knowledge of our technology, and thorough understanding of our aftermarket customers’ operational challenges will be a tremendous help in pushing HASCO® to the next level.”
In addition to being the aftermarket arm for Hartwll, HASCO® has also been a distributor for the aftermarket arm for VELCRO® products for over 20 years. As a long-term supply partner to many of world’s operators and OEMs, the company is reported to excel at value-added services including just-in-time scheduled deliveries and 24/7 service support from on-hand inventory. For AOGs (aircraft on ground), HASCO® can ship products from it facilities to customers worldwide in less than 4 hours. Normal lead-time for stock is same-day service.
