FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW, JULY 19th, 2004 … Tyee Aircraft, a member of the McKechnie Aerospace Structures Group, announced today that it will begin shipping G150 flight control rods and other ordered components and systems to Israeli Aircraft Industries (IAI) at the end of this month.
The scope of the agreement, which was signed in May of this year, encompasses all flight controls rods and additional rod assemblies for the door mechanisms and auxiliary systems to be used on both Gulfstream G150 and G200 aircraft. Components and systems manufactured by TYEE for the G150 include 49 different part numbers and 81 units per aircraft. Components and systems for the G200, which are scheduled for initial delivery in November of this year, include 54 separate part numbers and 76 units per aircraft.
