FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW, JULY 19th, 2004 … McKechnie Aerospace’s Structures Group announced today that group member Hartwell Corporation has entered into an agreement to supply Hurel-Hispano, Le Havre, with pressure-relief door assemblies for power plant nacelles produced by that company for A380 aircraft. Two power plants are currently available for the A-380, the GP7200 and Trent 900, and Hurel-Hispano is the prime contractor on both nacelles.

In recent months, the McKechnie Aerospace Structures and other OEM Groups have won a number of significant contracts from Airbus and A380 contractors. The company engineers and manufacturers a wide range of structural, electromechanical, and other components and assemblies.
Hurel-Hispano is one of the leading manufacturers of nacelles worldwide. A subsidiary of the Snecma Group, it has an annual turnover of approximately 468 million euros and a workforce of 2,600. Hurel-Hispano produces nacelles and other aeronautical components for long- and medium-haul aircraft, regional as well as business jets.
